RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- After cruising to a 10-0 victory over Alverno in a midweek matchup, the Concordia-Chicago women's soccer team will face a test in Marian University tomorrow afternoon.

Last Time Out... The Cougars showed dominance in their last outing against the Inferno of Alverno College. Junior
Esmeralda Torres led the way with eight points in the match off four goals, while
Sara Browne,
Paige Falkenstern and
Arly Escamilla each tallied their first goals of the season. With the win, the Cougars improve to 3-2-1 in conference play.
Sabres Scouting Report... Currently sixth in the NACC polls, just one seed behind the Cougars, Marian University is 5-7 overall and 3-3 in conference play. Averaging 2.75 goals per game, Ashley Welk leads the way with 20 total points and 12 points in NACC action. In goal, Kylie Lange boasts a .750 save percentage through 907 minutes of play and is fifth in the NACC with 72 saves on the season.
Pink Out Game... Tomorrow's match is dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer during the month of October. Over the past few weeks, both the women's and men's soccer teams have been selling pink out t-shirts, and were able to raise and donate over $1,000 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The Concordia-Chicago soccer programs are asking fans to wear pink to both matches tomorrow and visit komen.org to learn more about the cause.
