RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Looking to rebound after a road loss to MSOE on Saturday afternoon, the Concordia University Chicago Women's Basketball team heads north once again to Madison, Wisconsin to take on Edgewood College in the final game before CIT this weekend.
Series History: Edgewood has the best of CUC in the series between the two teams since 2007. CUC is just 5-12 against Edgewood during that span. The Cougars are just 2-6 in Madison during that span. Edgewood has won three straight over CUC including a 58-40 win in River Forest earlier this season. The Eagles had nine players score in the win, as they shot 42 percent from the floor.

Crystal Corr who both had 11. Corr finished just a single rebound shy of her second double-double of the season. Bloom currently ranks ninth in the NACC with a 13.1 points per game scoring average. She also ranks second in the NACC shooting an impressive 84.4 percent from the free throw line. Corr has been the best on the boards this season for CUC. She ranks fourth in the NACC in total rebounds with 134. Corr hit a milestone on Saturday, crossing over 500 rebounds for her career. The game tonight for CUC will be critical for them to stay alive in the playoff race. They currently sit three games back in the loss column of Aurora with six games to go including tonight.
About the Eagles: The Edgewood Eagles come in 10-7 overall and in fifth place of the NACC with a 7-5 record. The Eagles are coming off a 90-39 win over Illinois Tech on Saturday afternoon. Four Eagles finished in double figures, led by Abby Shane with 14. Shane is the top scorer for Edgewood. The sophomore guard ranks seventh in the NACC with a 13.3 points per game average. Edgewood ranks in the top portion in the NACC as a team in both rebounding and three point shooting this season. The lone senior on the roster Allison Gordon is the top post player for the Eagles. She is averaging 6.8 rebounds a game to go along with a 5.4 points per game average.
