RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- After a midweek trip to Milwaukee, the Cougars are headed back there Saturday for a weekend contest with the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors.
Last Time Out:Â CUC visited Milwaukee earlier this week, taking on MSOEÂ for a Wednesday match up. Concordia-Chicago eventually fell 4-1 at the hands of the Raiders, but not without freshman
Ryan Kuhlman scoring his seventh goal of the season.
All-Time vs. The Warriors:Â The Cougars are 2-14-1 all-time when taking on WLC, with the series dating back to 2001. CUC's two victories came in 2002 and 2004.
Scouting WLC:Â The Warriors are 4-8 on the season so far, with a 3-3 stature in conference. With a high powered offense, WLC has 11 different goal scorers, including freshman Jason Cano with 11 goals of his own.
Fresh Eyes:Â Concordia-Chicago's Kuhlman has stepped into an immediate impact role for the Cougars in the early stages of his career. Through CUC's first 10 games of the season, the Darien, Ill. native ranks among the top-seven in the NACC conference for total goals scored, with seven. Of the top seven scorers in the league, Kuhlman is the only athlete who has not played in at least 11 games so far this year.
