April 15, 2017- The Concordia-Chicago men's lacrosse team traveled to Mequon, Wisconsin Saturday afternoon to take on rival Concordia-Wisconsin.  Coming into today, the Falcons were in second place in the Midwest Lacrosse Conference, so the Cougars knew they had to come out strong and sustain it in order to beat CUW.  Unfortunately, Concordia-Wisconsin's defense didn't allow the Cougars to get on to the score sheet until late to win by the final score of 23-2.

The first half didn't go Concordia-Chicago's way as the Falcons dominated play scoring thirteen goals in the first thirty minutes, while only allowing a few shots on goal from the Cougars.  CUC were able to get on the scoreboard in the third quarter with goals from Brett Krueger and Corey Sheehan, but it was not enough as CUW continued to come at the Cougars the rest of the way and win by the final score of 23-2.

The Cougars (0-11, 0-5 MLC) return to action Tuesday as they host conference leaders Aurora University.  Face-off is set for 1:30pm.
