Football (1-1) - They look to rebound after losing to Hope College on Saturday. This week they head to Watertown, Wisconsin to take on Maranatha Baptist University.
Rashad Lofton was named Cougar Men's Athlete of the Week after gaining over 300 all-purpose yards against Hope. CUC defeated the Sabercats 42-21 last year in River Forest. CUC has won the last seven matchups against Maranatha Baptist.
Women's Soccer (4-2-1 1-0 NACC) - They look to continue their strong start to the season with just one match this week against Benedictine University. CUC opened up NACC play with a 3-0 shutout of Marian, extending their opponents scoreless streak to 249 minutes. CUC and Benedictine have played 16 times since 2001. Over the last five years, CUC is 2-1-2 against the Eagles. CUC last won in 2014, with Benedictine winning last year in Lisle.
Men's Soccer (2-4 0-1 NACC) - They look to get back into the win column on Tuesday when they take on the Illinois Institute of Technology in River Forest. The two schools have never met in the 16-year history of the Cougar soccer program.
Volleyball (1-9) - They have a busy week. They open NACC play against Rockford on Wednesday night on the road. They then take part in the NACC-IIAC Challenge hosted by Benedictine on Friday and Saturday. CUC will take on Luther, Simpson, Dubuque and Central College between the two days. CUC fell to Simpson earlier this season in four sets. The Cougars defeated Rockford last season in three sets in Geisman Gymnasium.
Cross Country- They get back into action after a bye week. They head west on Friday to Rock Island, Illinois to take part in the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational hosted by Augustana College. The race will take place on Saukie Golf Course.
Women's Tennis- Does not play this week.
