Box Score Oct. 18, 2014 – The Concordia Cougar men's soccer team traveled to Wiscsonsin Lutheran College on Saturday afternoon. It was a cold and windy day for Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference soccer action in Wisconsin as the Warriors toppled the Cougars by a 6-1 margin.

It was a closely contested first half as the Cougars played stout defense despite being outshot 11-3. The Warriors, however, snuck a goal in just before half time to take a 1-0 lead.

In the second half, the Cougars came out firing and Fabian Robles (Cicero, IL/St. Joseph) scored on a scrum in the box just three minutes into the second frame to level the game at 1-1.

CUC had run of the game over the next 10 minutes and almost took the lead. Unfortunately, the breaks went the other way and in the 55^th minute, WLC took the lead. As Concordia-Chicago played a more aggressive shape to push for the tying goal, Wisconsin Lutheran scored four more times to make the final margin 6-1.

The Cougars will host NACC leader Dominican University on Tuesday. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00.
