Oct. 16, 2010 - The Cougar men's soccer team ran up against a hot Milwaukee Engineering team in this afternoon's home match. The Raiders came in having won four of their last five matches, and the visitors kept on rolling behid a strong offensive performance to take a 4-1 victory.
First-half shots were 16-4 in favor of MSOE, but it was Concordia that struck first in the 38th minute. A cross from the right side by Brian Lopez (Bloomingdale, IL/Lake Park) was whiffed on by a few players but not by Rolando Zuniga (Melrose Park, IL/St. Joseph). Zuniga, who had entered the game just a few moments earlier, one-touched the ball from seven yards out into the net for his second goal of the year and a 1-0 lead.

The Raiders then scored a huge goal just 48 seconds before halftime on a nice bit of passing. Dan Hosko hit Mariano Rodriguez on the right side, and Rodriguez touched the ball in front of the net where Rafael Arndt tapped it in for a 2-1 Raiders' lead at the break.
Concordia's deficit became two goals in the 68th minute as Danny Kolokoski sent a thru pass to Hosko who beat substitute keeper Kevin Hughes (Itasca, IL/Lake Park). Michael Vanek then closed out the scoring in the 73rd minute, heading in Jordan Werner's cross from the left side.
