Box Score Oct. 13, 2010 – Sophomore Jake Koehler (Belvidere, Ill. – Rockford Lutheran H.S.) is the fourth Concordia University Chicago football player to earn a Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) weekly honor this fall. Koehler was named the Football (Special Teams) Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 4-10.

Koehler's punting played a significant role in the Cougars' 38-21 victory over Wisconsin Lutheran College in the Oct. 9 Homecoming game. The 6'3”, 225-lb. Koehler, who also plays quarterback and tight end, averaged 40.5 yards on four punts with just one being returned for short yardage.
