David Sodetz (Chicago) of the football team is honored for the week of Oct. 24-30.

Sodetz sparked a 31-point second quarter for the Cougars with a school-record 98-yard interception return for a touchdown in the Oct. 29 game versus Maranatha Baptist Bible College. The safety also recorded four tackles including two for minus-yards and a pass break-up.

Sodetz, the son of Steven Sodetz and Dawn Rehak, is a 2008 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. He is a senior law and justice major.
