Alyssa Soulis (Grayslake, IL) of the women’s soccer team is honored for the week of Sept. 26-Oct. 2.

Soulis scored four goals and added one assist in Concordia’s 6-1 soccer victory at Lakeland College Oct. 1. She scored twice and set up Anne Rockert’s tally as Concordia took a 3-1 halftime lead. Soulis added her final two unassisted tallies in the second half to ensure the victory. Her four goals marked the first time since September 2007 that a Cougar women’s player scored four times in a single match. Soulis leads the Cougars with seven goals, four assists and 18 points for the season.

Soulis, the daughter of Tim and Cheryl Soulis, is a 2010 graduate of Grayslake North High School. She is a sophomore science major.
