Concordia University Chicago Athletics

Jake Koehler (Belvidere, IL) of the football team is honored for the week of Sept. 5-11.

            
Koehler led the Cougar football team to a 28-10 win over the University of Chicago Sept. 10. He passed for 285 yards on 24 of 37 with four touchdown passes and no interceptions. Koehler helped the offense roll up 452 total yards against Chicago as Concordia avenged a 56-24 loss to the Maroons last year.

           
Koehler, the son of Joel and Jane Koehler, is a 2009 graduate of Rockford Lutheran High School. He is a junior Lutheran elementary education major.
