Merrell Davis (Milwaukee, WI) of the men's track team is honored for the week of Feb. 21-27.

Davis was named the Male Field Athlete of the Meet at the Feb. 26 Northern Athletics Conference Indoor Championships. He earned a total of 18 team points in his two jumping events with a first place in the long jump (22’ 3 ¾”) and second place in the triple jump (44’ 2 ¾”). Davis added to the team’s point total with school-record performances in the 200-meter dash (22.27, first place) and 55-meter dash (6.51, second place). Davis’ time in the 200 also set a new conference record.

Davis, the son of Anne Novotny, is a 2008 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School. He is a junior business management major.
