Charles Gordon (Chicago, IL) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the week of Feb. 14-20.

Gordon scored a career-high 20 points in the Cougar men’s 67-64 win over Rockford College Feb. 15 and matched it two nights later in a game versus Benedictine. Over the final week in which the Cougars went 2-1, Gordon averaged 16 points and six rebounds per game while shooting 22 of 33 (.667) from the field. For the season (25 games/nine starts), Gordon scored 184 points (7.4) and collected 91 rebounds (3.6).

Gordon, the son of Lucrisha McAllister, is a 2006 graduate of Lane Tech High School.
