Alisha Johnson (Coal City, IL) of the women’s track team is honored for May 1-7.

Johnson scored in four events for the CUC women at the NACC Outdoor Championships on May 5-6. She and her teammates set a new school record and finished second in the 4 x 400-meter relay (4:02.11) and also took third in the 4 x 100 relay (50.18). Individually, Johnson threw the javelin 106’ 8” for fourth place and ran a 2:25.90 in the 800 meters for a sixth place. 

Johnson, the daughter of Brian and Beverly Johnson, is a 2013 graduate of Coal City High School in Coal City, IL. She is newly graduated from CUC with a B.S. in biology.
