Joshua Warren (Chicago, IL) of the men’s indoor track and field team is honored for Feb. 20-26.
Warren captured first place in the men’s 800 meters at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Indoor Championships on Feb. 25. He ran a 1:57.35, beating his closest competition in the field of 20 runners by slightly over a second. Warren also competed in the 4 x 400-meter relay, helping the Cougars’ foursome to a school-record time of 3:27.07, which was good for third place in the event.
Warren, the son of Gerald and Valerie Warren, is a 2013 graduate of Whitney Young High School in Chicago, IL. He is a senior sport and fitness major.
