Megan Albregts (Romney, IN) of the women’s soccer team is honored for the week of Sept. 5-11.
Albregts moved to center back this season, and her play and leadership helped the Cougar women to two strong defensive performances in home wins against North Central College on Sept. 7 and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Sept. 10. “We’re playing strong on the ball and organizing ourselves better, and Megan is a big reason for that,” said CUC head coach Chris Brown.
Albregts, the daughter of Mark and Louann Albregts, is a 2013 graduate of McCutcheon High School in Lafayette, IN. She is a senior natural sciences major.
