Jessica Wilson (Indianapolis, IN) of the women’s track and field team is honored for the week of April 4-10.

Wilson competed in all of the throwing events at the Chicagoland Outdoor Championships at the College of DuPage on April 9. In her first outdoor collegiate meet, she scored in the javelin (99’ 7” for sixth place) and the hammer throw (130’ 2” for seventh place). Wilson also finished a solid 11^th out of 22 in the discus with a throw of 107’ 2”.

Wilson, the daughter of Robert and Sandra Wilson, is a 2015 graduate of Indianapolis Lutheran High School in Indianapolis, IN. She is a freshman music major.
