Carlos Olavarria (Rosemont, IL) of the baseball team is honored for the week of April 6-12.

Olavarria batted .462 over six games last week with nine runs scored and 11 batted in. He launched his third homer of the season as part of a four-RBI game against Edgewood College on April 11. Olavarria was also a perfect 7-7 in stolen bases for the week.

Olavarria, the son of Carlos Olavarria and Marybeth Burgos, is a 2011 graduate of East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, IL. He is a senior sport and fitness major.
