Josh Warren (Chicago, IL) of the men’s track and field team is honored for the week of Feb. 16-22.
For the second consecutive season, Warren established CUC’s record in the men’s 400-meter dash at the University of Chicago’s Margaret Bradley Invitational. Warren topped his previous record time of 50.87 seconds (set on Feb. 22, 2014) with a 50.70 in the Feb. 21 meet. Warren earned first place in the event and also took part in the 4 x 400-meter relay team, who won their event with a time of 3:33.55.
Warren, the son of Gerald and Valerie Warren, is a 2013 graduate of Whitney Young High School in Chicago, IL. He is a sophomore exercise science major.
