Chelsee Wilson (Shawneetown, IL) of the women’s track and field team is honored for the week of Feb. 9-15.

Wilson broke two CUC women’s track records in the Feb. 13 competition at the Chicagoland Indoor Championships hosted by North Central College. She topped her school record in the 200-meter dash first established one week ago as she lowered her time from 27.07 seconds to 26.73 and placed eighth out of 76 runners. Wilson also broke the previous school record of 8.18 in the 60-meter dash (Betty Watkins, 1982) with a time of 8.14 in the preliminaries.

Wilson, the daughter of Iles and Kristen Fort, is a 2014 graduate of Grayslake North High School in Grayslake, IL. She is a freshman communications major.
