Tino Vazquez (Chicago, IL) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the week of Dec. 15-21.

Vazquez led five CUC players in double-figure scoring with 17 points in the Dec. 18 game at Lakeland College. The 6’5” forward also scored 12 points against Wisconsin Lutheran College on Dec. 20 and shot .545 from the field for the week. He is averaging 9.0 points and 4.3 rebounds through the Cougar men’s nine games.

Vazquez, the son of Tino and Marianne Vazquez, is a 2011 graduate of Proviso East High School in Maywood, IL. He is a junior business marketing major.
