Miriama Kisiel (Schiller Park, IL) of the cross-country team is honored for the week of Oct. 27-Nov. 2.

Kisiel led the Cougar women’s cross-country team in the Nov. 1 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships with a run of 25:19.4 in the 6K race. Her time set a new personal-best standard by 23 seconds as she finished 27^th overall. Kisiel enters into the Cougars’ all-time best for the 6K at 14^th place.

Kisiel, the daughter of Peter and Eva Petrasova, is a 2006 graduate of Westmont High School on Westmont, IL and a transfer from Triton Junior College. She is a junior elementary education major.
