Alisha Johnson (Coal City, IL) of the women’s soccer team is honored for the week of Oct. 6-12.
           
Johnson contributed to a potent attack as the Cougar women totaled 11 goals in their two games last week. The winger scored a goal and added a career-high three assists in a 6-3 win over Maranatha Baptist University on Oct. 9. She added a first-half goal against Lakeland College as the Cougars won that Oct. 12 contest by a score of 5-0. For the season, Johnson leads the team with eight goals and eight assists for 24 points.

Johnson, the daughter of Brian and Beverly Johnson, is a 2013 graduate of Coal City High School in Coal City, IL. She is a sophomore biology major.
