Khyree Copeland (Jacksonville, Fla.) of the football team is honored for the week of

Nov. 8-14.

           

Copeland rushed for 180 yards in 35 carries including touchdown runs of three and five yards in the Cougars’ 52-45 win over Aurora University Nov. 13. It was the ninth 100-yard rushing game this season for Copeland and his 21^st in 38 career games. The 5’8”, 180-lb. running back finishes his career as the Cougars’ record holder in rushing for a game (333 yards), season (1,566) and career (3,957).

           

Copeland, the son of Alvin Copeland and Tina Turner, is a 2007 graduate of Potter’s House Academy. He is a senior exercise science major.
