Marcus Elston (Chicago, IL) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the period of Feb. 3-9.

Elston put up 20 points and pulled down seven rebounds in the Cougar men’s game against Wisconsin Lutheran College on Feb. 8. The 6’4” forward shot 6-13 from the field and 8-12 from the line in his fourth highest scoring output of the season. Fourteen of Elston’s 20 points came in the second half as the Cougars chopped a 23-point halftime deficit down to five in the waning minutes before falling by a 91-80 score.

Elston, the son of Marion Sims, is a 2009 graduate of Benito Juarez High School in Chicago, IL. He is a senior business management major.
