Marcus Elston (Chicago, IL) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the period of Jan. 6-12.

Elston averaged 20 points and 14 rebounds in the Cougar men's games last week against Concordia University Wisconsin and Edgewood College. The 6’4” forward is on a current streak of five consecutive double-doubles and has recorded eight for the season. Elston shot 68 percent from the field last week, making 13 of 19.

Elston, the son of Marion Sims, is a 2009 graduate of Benito Juarez H.S. in Chicago, IL. He is a senior business management major.
