Josh Schultz (Brookfield, WI) of the men’s indoor track team is honored for the week of Jan. 7-13
Schultz scored 10 of the Cougar men’s 38 team points at the Jan. 12 Carthage College meet. He broke his own 55-meter hurdle school record set last year at the conference indoor championships with a time of 8.33 seconds. Schultz also set a personal-best in the high jump with a 6’ 4” effort, a two-inch improvement on his previous standard. The 6’ 4” is the second-best mark in school history (Scott Willi, 1995).
Schultz, the son of Martin and Faith Schultz, is a 2011 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School in Milwaukee, Wis. He is a sophomore biology major.
