DeAndre McLaurin (Joliet, IL) of the men’s soccer team is honored for the week of Sept. 24-30.
          
McLaurin ran his scoring streak to four goals in three matches with two strong performances last week. The 5’11” forward scored twice as part of a 4-1 win at Benedictine on Sept. 26, the Cougars’ first win of the season. McLaurin also scored a second-half goal for Concordia’s lone tally in a 1-1 draw with Lakeland College Sept. 29.

McLaurin, the son of Carlotta McLaurin, is a 2011 graduate of Joliet West High School in Joliet, Ill. He is a sophomore exercise science major.
