Ethan McBee (Monroe, MI) of the men’s track team is honored for the week of May 14-20.

McBee beat his two-week-old school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the May 17-18 Gregory Invitational at North Central College. He became the first Cougar to record a mark of less than 10 minutes in the event with his time of 9:56.22 bettering his previous mark by 13 seconds.

McBee, the son of Keith and Kathleen McBee, is a 2009 graduate of Lutheran South High School in Newport, Mich. He is a junior secondary education major with specializations in history and English.
