Jamal Thomas (Weirsdale, FL) of the men’s indoor track team is honored for the week of Feb. 13-19.

Thomas earned 14 of the Cougar men’s 27 team points with two top performances at the Feb. 17 Cardinal Classic. He scored a personal-best mark of 21’ 9” in the long jump that was good for second place. Thomas also placed third in the triple jump with a leap of 42’ 3 ½”.
           
Thomas, the son of Ante and Joyce Thomas, is a 2008 graduate of Lake Weir High School in Ocala, Fla. He is a junior marketing major.
