Cheryl Robaczewski (Schiller Park, IL) of the women’s indoor track team is honored for the week of Feb. 6-12.
           
Robaczewski set a Concordia women’s indoor record in the 20-lb. weight throw at the Chicagoland Indoor Championships Feb. 10. Her throw of 43’ 6” beat teammate Amanda Allen’s record by ¼ inch and topped her own previous best throw by 25 inches. Robaczewski’s effort placed her eighth out of 32 throwers in the event and moved her into third place among all Northern Athletics Conference throwers.

Robaczewski, the daughter of Leonard and Leslie Robaczewski, is a 2009 graduate of East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, Ill. She is a junior secondary education major with a specialization in math.
