    Assistant Softball Coach
Beth Wallace joined the CUC softball coaching staff in the fall of 2025.

Wallace comes to CUC with years of coaching experience under her belt, most recently as the assistant coach at Division I Loyola University Chicago. Wallace spent four season with the Ramblers where she helped guide the team to new competitive heights, highlighted by a historic 2023 season. Loyola finished second in both the regular season and conference tournament during its inaugural year in the Atlantic 10 Conference, advancing to the championship game for the first time since 2012. The Ramblers closed the year with an 18-6 conference record and an unprecedented 14-0 mark at home, the first undefeated home record in program history.

Player development has been a hallmark of Wallace's coaching. Under her leadership, seven Ramblers have combined for 11 conference honors, including the 2021 Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year, seven All-Conference selections, two All-Defensive honorees, and one All-Rookie team member.

Beyond her on-field impact, Wallace has provided strong leadership and administrative support to the program. She stepped into the role of acting head coach during the fall seasons of 2020 and 2022, overseeing all facets of the team including practices, game management, travel, and logistics. She also meets regularly with student-athletes to ensure academic progress and personal well-being, highlighted by the program's highest semester GPA (3.72) in the Spring of 2020.

Prior to Loyola, Wallace built an impressive coaching resume at her alma mater, Western Illinois University. She served in multiple roles from 2014-2019, including interim and head coach, leading the program to their first .500 season since 2010. She coached standout Sammy Marshall, a two-time Summit League Player of the Year, NFCA All-Region honoree, and professional draftee. Additionally, she guided numerous Leathernecks to All-Summit League recognition and mentored student-athletes who excelled both on the field and in the classroom, including an NCAA Woman of the Year finalist.

A lifelong student of the game, Wallace holds both a bachelor's and master's degrees in Kinesiology from Western Illinois University.

Wallace currently resides in Arlington Heights with her husband, Dan, and daughter, Addie.
