Arissa Santos joined the CUC softball staff in the fall of 2026.
Santos returns to CUC as a member of the coaching staff after a highly successful four-year playing career with the Cougars. During her freshman campaign, Santos earned NFCA All-Region Third Team and NACC All-Conference Second Team while leading the team with a .433 batting average, a .702 slugging percentage, and six home runs. Throughout the rest of her career, she continued to establish herself as a premier hitter in the NACC, earning NACC All-Conference Second Team and CSC Academic All-District honors in her sophomore season. Her junior season saw the same continued success as she started all 41 games with the Cougars and finished atop the leader board in many statistical categories while earning CSC Academic All-District, NFCA Scholar-Athlete, and NACC Scholar-Athlete recognition. Rounding out her senior season with a similar stack of accolades, Santos collected NACC All-Conference Honorable Mention and Dean's List recognition.Â
Off the field, Santos served on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Executive Board for three years, leading the group's Mental Matters subcommittee, that aimed to educate and bring awareness to the mental health needs of student-athletes. She returns to the program asisting the team with hitting, fielding, and recruiting.Â
Santos graduated from Concordia University Chicago in 2026 with her bachelor's degree in Psychology and is now pursing her master's degree at CUC.
