Rochelle Laude (she/her) is a Clinical Intern at Chicago Psychotherapy, and will be offering low-fee counseling as an intern through June 2024. During the first two months of her internship training, Rochelle has completed intensive training in evidence-based therapies for anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, and trauma, including baseline training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Exposure/Response Prevention (ERP).
Rochelle is currently a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at North Park University. Prior to her graduate studies, She earned a Bachelor's in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health at Roosevelt University. Rochelle has previously served victims of interpersonal trauma, and has medical and behavioral health inpatient experience at Alexian Brother's Behavioral Health Hospital.
Rochelle’s clinical style is warm, empathic, patient, encouraging, and collaborative. She has a passion for working with adolescents, young adults and adults experiencing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma. She continues to educate herself and understand how the roles of cultural and family dynamics, values and each client’s distinctive history contribute to treatment planning.
Rochelle believes in supporting each of her clients by fostering self-awareness and helping her clients to develop the tools necessary to work through any obstacles they may be facing. She affirms the unique experiences, values, and identity of every client she supports.
