Kayla Toussaint was named the Women’s Basketball Graduate Assistant in the fall of 2018.
A native of Johnsburg, IL, Toussaint attended Judson University in Elgin, IL where she played 4 years on the Women's Basketball team where she served as captain her senior season. In addition to leading on the court, Toussaint served as a student wellness coordinator at Judson and was also named the President of the Exercise Sports Science Club. A star in the classroom as well, Kayla was a four-time NAIA All-Academic Team member as well as a four-time NCCAA All-Academic team member. During her career at Judson, Toussaint finished third in single season three point field goals made, sixth overall in career three-point field goals, and fourth in career field goal percentage.
Toussaint attended Johnsburg High School where she was a three sport athlete where she played three years of basketball at the varsity level. While at Johnsburg she was a two-time Fox Valley All-Conference player and was also named to the All-Area team for McHenry County.
Toussaint graduated from Judson University in 2018 with a BA in exercise science and a minor in psychology. She is completing her graduate work at Concordia-Chicago towards a dual master’s degree in human movement science and sports nutrition.
