Fatima Stingily originally joined the CUC cross country coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant in the fall of 2023.
During her two years as a graduate assistant, Stingily worked primarily with the cross country team and the throwers during track season. Following her two years as a graduate assistant, Stingily has joined the track and field staff as an assistant coach.
Stingily comes to CUC after an impressive college career at Northern Illinois University. She just finished a season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Huskies, where she primarily worked with the throwers. While with NIU, she coached multiple Huskies to new personal records and academic honors.
Before becoming a coach, Stingily competed in every throwing event as a student-athlete: Shot put, discus, javelin, and weight throw. In her five years as a Huskie, she finished in the top 10 all-time for NIU weight throw. In the 2021-22 season, Stingily was named Team Captain and was part of the 2021 Mid-American Conference Indoor Championship team. A part from her time as an athlete, Stingily also was a two-time Mid-American Conference Honor Roll Student.
Stingily received her bachelor's degree in Applied Science - BASc, Physical Therapy/Therapist from Northern Illinois University in 2022 and her master's of science in Exercise Physiology here at CUC in 2025.
