Patrick Chun

Patrick Chun returns to Concordia University Chicago through Athletico Physical Therapy in the fall of 2018 after working away from CUC the past four years.
 
Chun received a B.A. in Exercise Science from Concordia University Chicago in 2005. He went on to North Park University and received a B.A. in Athletic Training in 2009. He began working at Athletico Physical Therapy and was placed at Proviso East High School in Maywood, Dominican University and then Concordia in 2011.
 
In December of 2013, Chun left Concordia to pursue a career in hockey and began working with the Chicago Steel Hockey Team of the United States Hockey League. During his time with the Steel, the team competed in the Junior Club World Cup in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Leaving the team in 2016, Chun began working at Guerin Prep High School in River Grove.
 
Chun is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association [NATA], Great Lakes and Illinois Athletic Trainers Association. He is very interested in manual therapies, taking classes in Positional Release Therapy [PRT], Graston Technique and Total Motion Release [TMR].
 
Chun currently resides in Chicago with his wife Amy and their two daughters, Abigail and Samantha.
