Dr. Sue Walsh

Sue Walsh has served as the Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) for Concordia-Chicago student-athletes since 2006. Walsh represents Concordia-Chicago in conference matters concerning eligibility and academic standards.
"I am pleased to assist our student-athletes through my position as FAR," says Walsh. "My door is always open when it comes to helping them resolve any academic or athletic issues they may have."
Walsh came to Concordia in 2002 as an assistant professor of human performance where she has taught courses in anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, fitness and wellness, coaching, first aid and CPR.
Walsh earned her B.S. in psychology from Northeastern Illinois University and her M.S. in kinesiology and sports injury management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to Concordia, Walsh coached softball and basketball at Notre Dame High School for Girls in Chicago, and softball at Huntington College in Indiana. She has also served as an educational program director and assistant athletic trainer at Olivet Nazarene University.
