Chris Anderson

Chris Anderson joined the Concordia University Chicago staff in 2011 as an assistant athletic trainer and was named the head athletic trainer in June of 2019.

Anderson received his B.S. in athletic training from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2002. He began his athletic training career in the fall of 2002 with Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers working at Northridge Preparatory High School in Niles for two years and then Glenbard South High School for one year.
 
From 2005-08, Anderson served as an intern athletic trainer at North Park University in Chicago while completing his Master's degree in education. While at North Park, Anderson worked with women's soccer, women's basketball, volleyball and softball while also instructing two practicum courses.

Anderson returned to Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers in 2008 and worked at Mount Carmel High School in Chicago for one year. In 2009, Anderson moved into the head athletic trainer position at J. Sterling Morton High Schools in Cicero and Berwyn.

Anderson is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the Great Lakes and Illinois Athletic Trainers Association. He is certified as an American Heart Association instructor.

Anderson currently resides in Chicago with his wife Angie and two sons, Drew and Brady.
