Milwaukee, Wis - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's basketball team headed to Wisconsin Lutheran College's (WLC) campus to go against the Warriors. The Cougars battled throughout a tough matchup against the Warriors, but ultimately fell 92-41.Â

Inside the Box:Â
- Naveya Jackson (Sun Prairie, Wis.) led the team with 11 points and eight assists.
- Abbi Dykstra (Yale, Mich.) earned nine points with an assist and Ai Yonemura (Yachiyo, Chiba-Japan ) following that by earning six points and making three assists.
Here's What Happened
First Quarter
The Warriors were quick to take the lead in the first quarter with their three-pointers. King started off the Cougar scoring with a jumper at the start of the game. We also saw a couple of three-pointers by Dykstra and Jackson mid quarter. The cougars had a great fight during this quarter but the Warriors ended this quarter taking the lead with a score of 21-10.

Second Quarter
The warriors made the first couple baskets by the players' consistent layups to start off the second quarter. Both Nickerson and Yonemura made the first two baskets for the Cougars to chip away at the deficit. Towards the end of the quarter King made a three-point basket with a great assist from Yonemura. CUC fought for a close game throughout the quarter, but the warriors rallied with consistent baskets, putting the Cougars within their reach at Warriors 49 and Cougars 17 going into halftime.

Third Quarter
The Warriors had a great scoring run to start the third quarter, which went heavily in their favor. The Cougars kept up their fight after halftime scoring many three-pointers and layups shots against Wisconsin Lutheran. The final result for this quarter was 36 points for the Cougars and 76 points for the Warriors.

Fourth Quarter
In the last quarter, the Cougars pushed hard in efforts of catching up to their opponents. Chammas showed great effort with her three-pointer in the first couple of minutes. Following that, we had a couple free-throw shots by Pedraza and Conte to wrap up the game. Despite the effort, the Warriors were able to hold off the Cougars in the closing minutes with their layup and jumper shots, making the Cougars lose 92-41.Â
