Plymouth, Wis. - The Concordia University women's basketball team made their way to Plymouth, Wis. to take on their last opponents of the regular season, the Muskies of Lakeland University. After a fierce matchup, the Muskies took the game with a final score of 69-58, concluding the Cougars' season.

Here's What Happened
First Quarter
The Muskies grabbed the first points of the quarter with a three. Pedraza counteracted that with an impressive three of her own. King topped that off with a layup. After two minutes without scoring, Jackson came in with a layup, tying the teams up. The Muskies built their lead, but Kira Holliday (Roselle, Ill.) bit into the lead with a layup. King landed another layup, but the Muskies continued to lead by five. Pedraza got in a layup, 15-18. The Muskies remained in the lead going into the second quarter, 20-15.
Second Quarter
The Muskies opened up the quarter with jumpers, putting the Cougars in a nine-point deficit. Jackson got in a layup, 17-24. The Muskies grabbed another two points from a layup, countering Jackson's free throws. Holliday got into another jumper, lessening the deficit to five. The Muskies had hit a 10-point lead after a three and a jumper. Holliday landed another layup, 23-33. Jackson got in three free throws to end the quarter. The Muskies went into halftime with their lead intact, 33-26.
Third Quarter
The Muskies took the first points entering the third quarter. Jackson retaliated with a layup. Hannah Lopez (Chicago, Ill.)came in with a great 3-point jumper, breaking 30 for the Cougars. Abbi Dykstra (Yale, Mich.) got in a nice shot from beyond the arc, putting the Cougars within four. Pedraza's free throws had put the Cougars right on the Muskies' tails. Free throws from Jackson tied the teams up, 38-38. The Muskies landed two 3-pointers, putting them up by six. The Muskies remained in the lead, 46-38.
Fourth Quarter
King got in the first points of the final quarter with a layup. The Muskies quickly broke 50 and gained a 10-point lead against the Cougars, leaving them trailing once more. Pedraza got a jumper in, keeping the Cougars' fight going. Jackson had hit a layup, but the Muskies pushed back with a three, putting the Cougars at an 11-point disadvantage. Pedraza came in with another two points, trying to claw back for the Cougars. Lopez got in another 3 while Linley Southern (Decatur, Ill.) added in some free throws, 58-67. The Muskies took the game with a final score of 69-58.
