River Forest, Ill. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's basketball team welcomed their opponents, the Regents of Rockford University. After a tough battle, the Regents overtook the Cougars and took the game with a final score of 65-52.

Here's What Happened:
First Half
Brown was the first to put a move up for the Cougars, getting them on the board early. The Regents were quick to follow with a layup. The Regents were fast in grabbing the lead, with the Cougars not being able to score in the last five minutes. Brown got in some free throws, breaking up the point drought. The Regents slowly crept ahead of the Cougars with consistent rebounds, 12-4. Ryker Johnson (Fond du Lac, Wis.) came into play with a layup, followed up with another layup by Honore Yangoua (Williamstown, Ky.). Carter Privatt (Germantown, Wis.) was able to get in a driving layup, trying to put a dent in the Regents' lead. A layup from Brown had put the Cougars within seven. Williams threw up a jumper, but the Regents maintained their lead with a stronghold. Williams came in once more with a three-pointer, bringing the point gap to four. Williams ended the half with a bang as he landed another three-pointer. The Regents took the lead going into halftime, 29-26.
Second Half
The Regents were the first to score for the half with a jumper from the paint. The Regents were able to surpass the Cougars by 14 points, 40-26. AJ Willard (Germantown, Wis.) was able to get a layup in, bringing the Cougar point deficit down to 11, along with free throws from Williams. A jumper was made by a Regent, but Kenton Pryor (Hazel Crest, Ill.) came in fast with a layup to counteract that, along with a quick layup on the fast break from Willard. Yangoua snuck himself under the net and was able to get a layup in, lessening the Regent lead to nine. The Regents made a comeback, putting up five points, putting the lead back up to 14 points. Lowery tried to break into the intense lead the Regents had on the Cougars with a layup. With 1:27 remaining, Sebastian Hill (Decatur, Ill.) joined his scoring teammates with a layup, 64-48. Free throws from Hill helped the Cougars finally break 50. The Regents took the night's game with a final score of 65-52.
