RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's track & field team sent athletes to compete at the Fighting Chance Invite, hosted by University of St. Francis. This is the final push for a spot at the National Championship.
 
On day one, Travon Thomas (Wauchula, Fla.) set a personal best of 39.67m (130-2) in the hammer throw.
 
Thomas and more of his teammates will also compete today at the USF Last Chance Invite in the push for a spot at Nationals.
