JOLIET, Ill. - Travon Thomas (Wauchula, Fla.) of the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's track and field team, competed on the final day of the Fighting Chance Invite, hosted by the University of St. Francis. This meet is a last push for a spot at the National Championships.

On day two, Thomas threw for 32.02m (105-1) in the discus throw.
