How it Happened
First Half
For the first five minutes, the two teams traded points with Cougars taking a slight 12-10 lead thanks to buckets from Aaron Brown (Joliet, Ill.), Williams, Collicott, and Watts. Back-to-back threes however for the Raiders would spur MSOE to a 10-0 run. Kenton Pryor (Hazel Crest, Ill.) ended the run as the Cougars looked to close the gap. White made a huge three-pointer to close in on the Raiders, 24-20, with just over nine minutes left in the half. MSOE's offensive power was tough to stop as they didn't let the Cougars get any closer than four points. Collicott and Williams would combine for 12 of CUC's next 17 points, but the Raiders would lead 55-37 into the break.

Second Half
Sean Beckman (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) got things started for the Cougars in the second half with a quick jumper. Williams and Pryor would add to CUC's point total, with Pryor completing an and-one to make it 67-45. Yet the Raiders would continue to build their already strong lead. With just about 10 minutes left in the game, Knoll would sink a three-pointer to start a 18-7 run for the Cougars. Watts picked up five more points, including an and-one while Knoll knocked in two more from beyond the arc. Andreas Louloudis (Thessaloniki, Greece) scored his first basket of the season with six and half minutes left. In the final five minutes, the Cougars outscored the Raiders, 19-8, with White tallying 10 of those points, but the Raiders came out on top 111-92.
