Warrenville, Ill. - The Women's Cross Country team traveled to Warrenville Illinois to compete in the Gil Dodds Invitational. Several Cougars brought in a PR.

Here's What Happened:

• First to cross the finish line for the Cougars was Ariel Martinez (Berwyn, Ill.) with a time of 25:27.7. 
• Lydia Anderson (Carpentersville, Ill.) finished third for the Cougars with a time of 28:28.7.

PR Party:

• Closely behind her teammate was Tegan Oas (Shingle Springs, Calif.) who ran in a time of 25:59.2. This was a PR for Oas, chipping off nearly 40 seconds from her past PR.
• Sarah Redhage (Lowden, Iowa) finished fourth for the Cougars with a time of 28:37.3, clenching herself a PR. 
• Breanna Walters (Poplar Grove, Ill.) finished fifth with a time of 29:26.7, getting a PR as well. 
• Addi McKee (Knoxville, Ill.) ran in a PR with a time of 30:51.6.
• Ciara Parsons (Whitmore Lake, Mich.) ran in a PR with a time of 31:22.7.
• The final PR of the day was from Abbigail Placido (Geneva, Ill.) with a time of 38:59.8.

What's Next:

The Cougars take a week to train and will be back running September 28th at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational at 12:00 pm.
