Mequon, Wis. - The Concordia University Chicago cross country team is on the road as they travel to Concordia University Wisconsin for the Ken Weidt Classic. The women placed ninth overall, led by the two seniors on the team, Ariel Martinez (Berwyn, Ill.) and Tegan Oas (Shingle Springs, Calif.).

Here's what happened:
The Cougars ran in the Ken Weidt Classic which was a 6k for the women's team. The first finisher for the Cougars was Martinez, placing 54th overall and had a time of 26:09.7.

Oas was the second to finish for the Cougars, finishing 43 seconds behind her teammate Martinez, with a time of 26:51.9.

Sarah Redhage (Lowden, Iowa) followed closely behind her senior leaders and finished third for the Cougars with a time of 29:26.4.

Personal Record (PR) Party
- The first PR of the meet was from Breanna Walters (Poplar Grove, Ill.) who finished fourth for the Cougars and had a time of 29:58.7.
- Our second PR of the meet for the Cougars was from Addi McKee (Knoxville, Ill.) with a time of 33:37.8.
- Following closely behind her teammate was Ciara Parsons with a PR and time of 33:59.3.
- Bringing in another PR was Abbigail Placido (Geneva, Ill.) with a time of 41:41.2.
