RIVER FOREST, ILL. -- The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) / Rawlings announced their 2024 Division III All-Region Teams on May 28th with one lone Cougar's name written on the list. Tyler Dorsch (Phoenix, Ariz.) earned Third-Team recognition for his all-around performance this season.

Dorsch earned one of five outfielder spots after securing his spot on the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) All-Conference second team on May 13th. This year, Dorsch dished out a .361 batting average, .484 on base percentage, and a team high .616 slugging percentage. The junior led the team in home runs with nine while tacking on eight doubles and one triple in his 52 total hits on the season. He was second on the team in stolen bases with 14 while being the lone season starter to have a perfect season in the field, working primarily in right field. He collected 64 putouts with no errors and one assist. Dorsch also led the team in walks, after taking 35 free trips on base this season but successfully crossing home plate 51 times, leading the team in runs scored. Dorsch finished sixth in the NACC in runs scored while leading the conference in fielding percentage as one of four players to have a perfect season. 

This is Dorsch's first All-Region recognition.
