With 4:47 on the clock, Collicott banked a three-pointer and on the next possession, Watts sank one from beyond the arc to cut into the Rangers' lead, 37-24. Two layups by
Kenton Pryor (Hazel Crest, Ill.) Â and back-to-back threes from Collicott brought the gap back to single digits, but a last second layup put the Rangers up 45-34 at the break.

Parkside continued to extend its lead, going on an 11-4 run to lead by 20 points, 60-40, with 14:44 left in the game. Collicott answered with one from behind the arc, but the Rangers came back down the court and sank a three of their own.
Tallis Lowery (Fairview Heights, Ill.) and Watts put up buckets for the Cougars to keep the deficit around 20, but the Rangers continued to find ways to pull further away from the CUC, leading 80-52, with 7:08 on the clock.
Honore Yangoua (Williamstown, Ky.) recorded a three-pointer of his own, but Parkside powered forward with eight unanswered points from the Cougars, for a game-high difference of 33 points, 88-55, with 5:28 remaining.
