Rock Island, Ill. - The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) Cougars traveled to Rock Island to compete in the NCAA DIII Midwest Regional Cross Country Championships. The Cougars team raced well, and on top of strong finishes, four Cougars finished with new personal records.

Top Finishers
The top finisher for the Cougars was Ariel Martinez (Berwyn, Ill.) with a time of 26:04.8.
Tegan Oas (Shingle Springs, Calif.) was the second to cross the finish line for the Cougars, finishing with a final time of 26:49.5.Â

Joining the PR Party
- The third to cross the finish line for the cougars and roping in a new PR was Breanna Walters (Poplar Grove, Ill.)Â with a time of 27:00.1.
- Sarah Redhage (Lowden, Iowa) set a new personal record in the meet with a time of 27:55.9.
- Ciara Parsons (Whitmore Lake, Mich.) shattered her personal best, with a finishing time 29:41.5.Â
- With a time of 30:19.7, Addi McKee (Knoxville, Ill.) set a new personal record and the final PR of the day for the Cougar team.

"The entire theme of the season was the team being "so back" and that mindset culminated in a great group performance to cap off the year. It was a really foundational year for the younger athletes and I think the group as a whole is ready to carry the good vibes into the track season. We are, as previously stated, so back"
